Prayer

At Serge, we believe that “mission relies on prayer that asks for the Kingdom to come and God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. When that prayer is fully answered, the work of mission will be complete. Therefore, we are committed to spending regular, extended times in prayer for the gospel to reach and transform every person. Our desire is that prayerful dependence will characterize every aspect of our mission work, in a way that involves all of our workers and ministry partners.”

Specific ways you can be praying

• Pray that God will provide the financial needs that we have. We know that our Father loves to gives good things to his kids. May we rest in that!

• Pray for our team in Kenya. Ask that they be encouraged in their work and that God would knit our hearts together as we seek His glory and the good of those we minister to.

• Pray for all the logistics involved in moving - shipping, figuring out what we need to bring, etc.

• Pray that God will prepare us for the ministry that awaits us in Kenya. There is some trainings and readings that we want to pursue while in the US. Ask that we will be good stewards of our time.

• Pray for daughter as we prepare for this really big transition. She is really excited and loves the kids on the team yet transitions are always hard. Pray for us as we shepherd her heart through all the changes and the emotions that she is experiencing.

• Please pray for times of rest and renewal for us as a family. It has been a hard season and we need time to refresh before heading back overseas.
